ENGINEERING MANAGER VACANCY

Requirements :
  • University graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a Business degree, with minimum 5 years experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent in relationship building with related department and function.
  • Experienced in managing project work and specifically factory renovation
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or related manufacturing (food/ FMCG) is an advantage

Responsibilities :
  • Lead and manage an effective engineering and maintenance team
  • Manage the major Factory Renovation project at Mugi Laboratories
  • Assure the value of Company Assets at Mugi through good maintenance practices
  • To manage a capital asset program covering the life cycle of all Capital Assets
  • Implement a program for continuous maintenance of the site and building
  • Ensure preventative maintenance for production and Quality Control equipment according to industry standards
  • To assure site security both in physical terms (quality of fencing, alarms etc) and by management of the security guard team
  • Implement the company’s Corporate EHS Policy at the site
  • Implement and monitor programs for environmental controls
  • Establish safe practices at the factory
  • To manage, control and monitor formal Calibration (metrology) activities
  • Determine and strengthen internal procedures to align with corporate policy and industry best practice
